Encinitas Union School District officials
agreed Tuesday to consider changes that could help the district qualify
for federal stimulus money later this year. The school board
unanimously approved a memorandum of understanding with the state that
the district will work with the California Department of Education to
try to bring in federal "Race to The Top" stimulus money.
